On July 19th a 30-minute introduction to The Virtues Project was given to nine members of the committee which promotes the Convention on the Rights of Children. Stakeholders on this committee include representatives from various NGOs, the health department, child protective services, the UNDP and special needs children's services. Discussion revealed that Samoans share many of the same concerns about children's well being that Canada does. They want to implement positive approaches to childrearing, such as those taught by The Virtues Project.
