Ocean of Light School (K-12) was established in 1996. Since its inception they have been integrating moral education throughout the curriculum in the belief that good character is the foundation for success in school and life. Parents obviously agree, because the school has been expanding rapidly. With a waiting list of hundreds of students, the school has taken the initiative to break ground for a larger facility which should be completed in January.
Staff welcomed the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of The Virtues Project at a customized one-day workshop contributed by Ms. Watters on August 9th, 2002. Directors of the Catholic and Wesleyan school systems in Tonga also participated. The workshop created a feeling of optimism, renewed vision and unity.

Here's what the trainees had to say about their day:
"I'm so energetic and wish to express what I've learned anytime, anywhere, to whoever will listen. . ." Mrs. Vasi Falepaini, Librarian"I'm glad and happy I was involved in this workshop for the Virtues Project has to be taught to and shared with our staff."Rev. Kalapoli Poango, Director of the Wesleyan Free Schools
"I plan to practice everywhere, including my home and family." Ms. Luseane, teacher
"What was most helpful was . . .someone commenting on the virtue that they see in me which I did not think I had." Anonymous
"The organization of the workshop was impressive. Thanks for such great contributions, dedication and implementation." Ta'hirih, teacher
